My physiotherapy practice is deeply rooted in my personal discoveries as a nature lover, totally fascinated by the human body and continuously curious about the way it can change and adapt. I have also gained various perspectives through continuous learning on a variety of topics such as Manual Therapy, Dry Needling, management of TMJ conditions and pain science. I now combine all of these skills through the use of the Integrated Systems Model which allows me to assess each individual from a whole-body perspective and deliver a highly personalized treatment plan that takes into consideration the uniqueness of our bodies, our past experiences and our goals.
Outside of a relentless desire to help others, I value the human connection that my role brings and I hope to inspire others to lead a life that is not only fulfilling but one that fosters resiliency, adaptation and growth.

I am a Nova Scotian turned BCite. I moved out for the mountains and outdoor sports. I am an outdoor enthusiast and I enjoy mountain biking (downhill and cross country), skate skiing, snowboarding, and trail running. I love the Okanagan because each season brings a new sport.
My specialty is manual therapy and using the Integrated Systems Model to figure out the root of a problem. I use that to ease discomfort and improve sports performance.
My goal is to ensure that my clientele can enjoy all that the Okanagan has to offer, whether walking the Rail Trail with grandkids or keeping up to their friends on a trail at Silverstar.

Prairie transplant (Saskatoon and Lloydminster, SK) to orchard country (Lake Country, BC), I have worked in private practice physiotherapy since 2017. Since 2021 I have used Diane Lee’s Integrated Systems Model (ISM) as the foundation for my practice. This clinical reasoning framework allows practitioners ‘find the driver’ behind acute and chronic injury and pain which is why I love it. I have also been teaching Pilates since 2007 and use this exercise repertoire with many of my clients. I have completed my Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopaedic Syllabus Level 3 Upper and Level 2 Lower and also hold a K-Taping Pro Certificate.
Preceding my family’s relocation to the Okanagan, I practised as a Physical Therapist in the Lloydminster Hospital Inpatient and Outpatient therapy departments for two years.
I obtained Master of Physical Therapy (2015) and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (2006) degrees from the University of Saskatchewan and I am a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (2006).
Before completing my Masters, I worked as an Exercise Therapist in both chronic disease management and physiotherapy clinic settings. I also owned and operated a Pilates and Highland Dance studio from which my devotion to integrative methodology is rooted.
A life-long learner and professional development devotee, I am perpetually registered in courses that hone my therapy skills, namely manual therapy, neurodynmics, running analysis and taping.
Outside the clinic and studio, I enjoy trying new physical activities. I started playing hockey on a women’s team in rural Saskatchewan in an attempt to impress my two hockey-crazed sons and their coach, (my husband) Ashley. I also learned to row, attending the 2016 Masters Rowing Championship in Regina with the resurgent Lloydminster Rowing Club.
I have a passion for performing arts, physical activity and sport, respecting the powerful synergy between physical participation and well-being at every age.

I am a wild soul who loves to wander. Whether it’s wandering the local trails, traveling the world with my husband, or walking alongside you on the journey with your body. My approach is integrative, inclusive and trauma informed. It’s my goal to create an environment where you feel safe to navigate your pain and step back into harmony and wholeness with all of who you are - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Through curiosity and a passion for growth I have learned that there is an art to healing and returning to wholeness requires a unique and individualized path. It’s why since graduating in 2011 with my Master’s in Physical Therapy I have wandered into the wilderness of healing and walked out with a unique blend of knowledge. When we collaborate on your care I will combine my understanding of acupuncture, intuitive energy work, somatoemotional release, craniosacral, pelvic floor and traditional physiotherapies to bridge the gap between where you are and where you desire to be.
In my eyes, embodying and stepping into true health is an ever evolving journey and I look forward to walking with you on yours.

I am a Vernon girl born and raised who has a wide love for the many things the Okanagan has to offer. After discovering my passion for health and fitness through working as a fitness instructor and personal trainer, I decided to complete my Exercise Science degree at UBCO to further the realm of people I am able to help. I have a strong passion for what exercise and taking care of ourselves can do for us physically and mentally, and how strength training can be used to rehab, prevent injury, increase confidence, and improve our overall quality of life. Throughout my degree I had the opportunity to do performance based strength training with many of the UBCO varsity athletes during both their on and off seasons. I have also completed my Nutritionist Specialist certification through ISSA as I began to discover the link of the foods we consume and the effects on the body, so have a strong belief on how this is all intertwined! I have now officially been out of university for a year, and during this time I have had the pleasure of helping many individuals in terms of rehab, strength, power and confidence! And it has been so fascinating, rewarding and empowering to see what strength training can do!
When I am not helping and encouraging others in their exercise endeavors, you can often find me in the gym for my own health, and working towards my next bodybuilding competition. I also enjoy going for walks in the various trails the okanagan has to offer, and spending time paddle boarding in the summer!
I am beyond excited to be joining the team at Habitat to use the skill base and experience I have to help you in any part of your journey that I can! But also for the chance to continue to grow and develop my own skill set with the various amazing practitioners that are here as well!
